TE Industrial - Best New Customer Development Award
The Avnet ASEAN team has been awarded FY24 Best New Customer Development Award from TE Industrial Business Unit (BU), which honors Avnet's outstanding contributions to creating new customer opportunities for TE Industrial BU during their fiscal year 2024 (October 2023 to September 2024).
The award recognizes Avnet's dedication to fostering strong partnerships and driving growth. By leveraging its deep industry expertise and innovative solutions, Avnet successfully developed new customer partnerships for TE Industrial BU, contributing to a significant 12% revenue growth.
The award was presented to Avnet during the TE BU FY25 Distributor Kick-off Meeting on November 13, 2024, at the Four Points by Sheraton Singapore. Robin Zhao, Distribution Sales Manager at TE, presented the award to the Avnet team.

National Safety and Security Watch Group Award
Avnet Asia has been honored with the National Safety and Security Watch Group (NSSWG) Award 2024, presented by the Singapore Police Force and Singapore Civil Defense Force. This esteemed award recognizes and honors SSWG members for their outstanding efforts in enhancing the safety and security of their premises.
Avnet Asia (SGDC) demonstrated a strong commitment to safety and security across various aspects. The team excelled in developing and implementing comprehensive Emergency Response Plans, conducting regular drills, and ensuring all employees are well-trained in preparedness skills. SGDC consistently maintained high safety standards across all operations, minimizing potential risks and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees. The team fostered strong collaboration with security agencies, actively participating in training programs and leveraging their expertise to enhance security measures. SGDC demonstrated a proactive approach to security by regularly reviewing and updating contingency plans, ensuring that all security measures remain effective and aligned with evolving threats. The company implemented a robust CCTV system with strategically placed cameras, high-quality recordings, and effective monitoring to enhance overall security.
The award presentation ceremony took place on December 27, 2024, at the Orchard Hotel, Singapore. Guest-of-Honor Minister of State Sun Xueling (Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Social and Family Development) and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) Lian Ghim Hua, presented the award to outstanding agencies that have significantly enhanced the safety and security of their premises.
