Golden Gear Award - Best Technical Practice Application
Avnet China is proud to announce that our Avnet Design Services (ADS) team in China has been honored with the 2024 Best Technical Practice Application Award at the 12th Automotive and Environmental Innovation Forum and the 6th Golden Gear Awards for China's Top 100 Automotive New Supply Chain.
This prestigious award, presented by Gasgoo, a leading global automotive industry information service platform, recognizes outstanding products and solutions in the automotive sector. The "Best Technical Practice Award" focuses on the technical characteristics, market, and technological application advantages of various solutions, with the aim of promoting high-quality development in China's automotive industry.

Wei Wei, Director of Avnet Design Services, accepted the award on October 24 at the Ruili Hotel in Shanghai. He expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the team's dedication to continuous innovation.

HKAEO Partnership Scheme Gold Award
Avnet Hong Kong has been recognized for its significant contributions to the Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department (C&ED) by receiving the HKAEO Partnership Scheme Gold Award. The award acknowledges Avnet Hong Kong's proactive support and outstanding performance in the Hong Kong Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) program over the past year.
It was presented to Gigi Or, Director of Logistics at Avnet Hong Kong, by Louise Ho, Commissioner of Customs and Excise, at the recent HKAEO Certificate Presentation Ceremony 2024 on November 29. This took place at the Customs Headquarters Building in Hong Kong.

"We are deeply honored to receive the HKAEO Partnership Scheme Gold Award," said Gigi. "Joining the AEO program has proven to be a valuable asset. While benefiting from expedited customs clearance and other advantages, we have also strengthened our commitment to compliance and enhanced employee awareness of supply chain security."
Gigi continued, "This award underscores our dedication to collaborating with Hong Kong Customs to enhance international supply chain security and facilitate the smooth movement of legitimate goods. We will continue to actively support the HKAEO program and contribute to its success."
Since achieving AEO Tier 2 accreditation in 2022, Avnet Hong Kong has experienced numerous benefits. Reduced Customs inspections and prioritized Customs clearance have significantly streamlined logistics operations. Furthermore, the company enjoys privileged benefits under Mutual Recognition Arrangements with 15 Customs administrations worldwide. These advantages have not only enhanced operational efficiency but also expanded global business opportunities while ensuring strict adherence to all applicable rules and regulations.

Golden Flag Awards - CSR category
At the China-Malaysia International Brand Summit and the 15th Golden Flag Brand Awards which took place at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia, Avnet was honored with the 2024 Golden Flag Award for Corporate Responsibility. This award is a testament to the public's recognition of Avnet's robust ESG communication strategies and its unwavering commitment to fulfilling corporate social responsibilities and driving sustainable social development.

Avnet China is proud to announce that it has been recognized as the Distributor of the Year by Nordic Semiconductor. This prestigious award was presented to Prince Yun, President of Avnet Asia Pacific and Japan, by Vegard Wollan, CEO of Nordic Semiconductor, at the Nordic Sales Conference APAC 2024 in Okinawa, Japan.
The award recognizes Avnet China’s significant contributions to the success of Nordic Semiconductor’s nRF54L Series. Our dedicated team has been instrumental in promoting and selling this cutting-edge technology to key customers across China.

TE Connectivity AD&M BU - APAC Distributor of the Year Award
Avnet Hong Kong has once again been recognized as the Aerospace, Defense, and Marine (AD&M) APAC Distributor of the Year 2024 by TE Connectivity, marking the second consecutive year we've received this prestigious award from our supplier.
Avnet Hong Kong's significant contributions to TE Connectivity's success in the region, particularly in key segments like aviation, shipbuilding, new energy, and industrial automation, were instrumental in securing this award. Our team's dedication to delivering innovative solutions and providing exceptional customer support has been pivotal in driving growth and achieving outstanding results.
Avnet Hong Kong's strong performance, including significant contributions to TE's growth in key segments like aviation, shipbuilding, new energy, and tooling, with a remarkable 63% year-over-year increase in AD&M business at TE FY24, and a pioneering design win in the emerging eVTOL segment, further solidified our position as a leading distributor in the region.
The award was presented to the Avnet Hong Kong TE SPM team by Cheng Jinsheng, Asia Director of TE Connectivity's AD&M Business Unit, during TE Connectivity's 2024 APAC Sales Meeting in Yokohama, Japan on November 8, 2024.

Avnet Asia was recently honored with the prestigious TE Global APAC Distributor of the Year 2023 award. This is the first time the Avnet regional team has been awarded by TE Channel Business Unit for this annual award.
