Srinivas Sikha, an Associate Design Engineering Director at Avnet Design Services (ADS) India, exemplifies Avnet's core values of Integrity and Customer Focus. As a Laboratory Manager, he is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the lab and delivering innovative solutions to our customers. Over his 24 long years of tenure at Avnet, he has consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to ethical conduct, transparency, and customer satisfaction.
One of Srinivas’ most notable achievements was winning the 1st Prize at the Infineon Oktobertech event in 2019 for his team’s groundbreaking solar drive solution. This innovative solution addressed a critical energy challenge in India: the inefficient and environmentally harmful use of agricultural pumps. By leveraging solar energy, Srinivas and his team developed a system that maximizes power output while minimizing environmental impact.

With a career spanning over 37 years, including 25 years at Avnet, Srinivas brings a wealth of experience to his role. His journey began at the tender age of 15, assisting his father in the intricate process of grading diamond powder and transforming raw gemstones into polished gems. This early exposure to precision and attention to detail, coupled with his formal education in gemology from the Gemological Institute of America, has shaped his approach to problem-solving and innovation. This experience has also influenced his mentorship style, as he nurtures and develops engineers, transforming them from raw talent into dazzling diamonds.
