Hello, Team! As I read through this issue of APAC Pulse, it strikes me that we have much to celebrate and anticipate as we navigate FY24. In the celebrations department, please join me in applauding the bright young winners of the annual Creative Design Contest that we run hand-in-hand with Vietnam’s Nha Trang University. In India and Taiwan, Avnet was named best distributor of the year by two of our most valued suppliers, Samtec and Vishay. In addition, we won a glittering array of awards from Molex Asia Pacific South, including best distributor in the region. Thanks go to all involved for making us proud. In the anticipation department, we have much to look forward to. The unstoppable rise of electric vehicles paves the way for boundless opportunities across our entire business eco-system. The agricultural industry is embracing a more efficient and productive future, finding smart new ways to fill the food bowl of the world’s growing population.
