A Fun Day of Teambuilding and Muscle-Building |

On July 22, our Singapore colleagues recently tried their hands at dragon boat racing. It was the first-ever activity of its kind, and going by the great response, it won’t be the last.
A Great Turnout and Workout
An impressive turnout of around 60 colleagues from our three Singapore offices gathered from the early hours of the morning to attend the company’s first-ever dragon boat event. The activity was organized by the Singapore office’s Human resources team in collaboration with dragon boat veterans, the Canadian Dragons Singapore.
After a crash course on the fundamentals of dragon boat racing and a safety briefing, the Singaporeans found their sea legs and took to the boats to commence a gruelling paddle from Kallang to Marina Bay. The event concluded before lunch, with prize-giving and refreshments.

Conversation Flowed
The participants visibly enjoyed themselves and spoke with enthusiasm about their experiences.
Andy Ng, Account Manager, said, “In sync, we paddled forward with great teamwork, lots of fun and laughter!”
“The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team,” reflected Chai Jun Wei, Business Analyst. “It was a great teambuilding event!”
Loh Jia Wen, Senior Program Executive, spoke for everyone when she said, “It was a fun and memorable experience, especially in view of the fact that most of us were first-timers. It's all about teamwork and communication, which are important values that we need in the workplace.”
Well done, Singapore. Keep on making waves, building muscles and strengthening bonds!
