In partnership with Murata, Avnet recently took part in the annual Taiwan Smart Agriweek, the largest all-encompassing agriculture, fisheries and livestock professional platform in Asia. The well-attended event took place over three days from August 31 to September 2, at Nangang Exhibition Hall.

Planting the Seeds of Future Relationships
At booth J209, we showcased our total agricultural solutions with a spotlight on Murata’s advanced agricultural sensors. These durable and exceptionally precise sensors are able to constantly monitor and measure electrical conductivity, temperature and water content in soil, resulting in improved efficiency and yield.

It was the first time that Avnet Taiwan had participated in the event, and their efforts bore fruit in the form of more than 200 promising leads. Influential attendees hailed from Taiwan’s booming smart agricultural sector, and included members of the Ministry of Agriculture.
