On May 6, 70 employees from our Singapore Distribution Center spent a meaningful and fun-filled day of team-building at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium.

Games with Aims
After tucking in to a hearty breakfast, the good-natured colleagues threw themselves into a series of teambuilding games with the intriguing names of Knotty Hands, Shapeshifters, The Pyramid Challenge and The Puppet Master Challenge!
In addition to elevating team spirit, these games shared the common aims of breaking down silo thinking while building a culture of interdependence, fostering inclusiveness, cultivating a growth mindset, and encouraging the embrace of change.
Good Vibes Only
Organized by Matthew James International in conjunction with Avnet Singapore’s Human Resources team, the first-time event garnered plenty of positive feedback from participants.
Benny See, Team Leader, said, “The activities were very interesting and engaging, and the organizer reinforced the learnings after each activity.”
Philip Lim, Senior Inplant Executive, added, “I enjoyed getting to know my colleagues in different departments, and thought the event was very well organized.”
As you can see from the photos, everybody had a blast. It may have been the first event of its kind, but it certainly won’t be the last.
