Our Hong Kong Colleagues Work Hard and Play Hard |

On May 2, our Hong Kong office took part in a lively bowling contest at a popular Whampoa bowling alley. The first event of its kind since the passing of the pandemic, it was heartily welcomed by all the good sports who attended.
Winners are Grinners
The entire Thunder Bowl bowling alley was booked by Avnet for the event, which was held in the evening. The turnout of 99 was testament to the popularity of bowling, which blurs the line between recreation and sport and welcomes participants of all ages, genders and fitness levels. In other words, anyone can play!

Awards were given out for the top-scoring three teams, for the top-scoring male and female bowlers, and for all bowlers who scored a ‘turkey’ (three strikes in a row).
Terence Au Yeung, Assistant Account Manager, spoke for all participants when he said, “I am thankful to the company for organizing this event. Never forget to work hard, play hard, and keep healthy!”

KS Lim, Vice President, Supplier Management (Semi and IP&E), Asia Pacific, said, “Events like this tick every box. They build teamwork, require cooperation, and improve fitness. Though they are fun, they are also competitive, so they serve to sharpen our collective appetite for winning. I personally look forward to the next bowling contest!”
