DIY Kimchi: Korea’s Not-so-secret Superfood |

In our Korea office, two colleagues got in front of the camera to share the fundamentals of making kimchi, the spicy fermented condiment with a multitude of health benefits.
Conference Room Turns Kitchen
Organized by Erica Choe and Rumi Lee from Human Resources, the video was part of a larger initiative to promote well-being amongst employees, and in particular, the importance of a healthy diet. The proven nutritional value of kimchi, and Korea’s well-known love of the cabbage-based condiment, made kimchi the obvious choice for the first cooking video.
Due to the limitations imposed by the pandemic, the video was shot by a pair of professional videographers in the conference room of Avnet Korea, Seoul. The stars of the show were a pair of colleagues from Customer Service, Christina Kim and Ella Jung. Naturals on screen, their expert instructions were brought to life by their animated presentation.
