The 2nd Avnet Automotive Ecosystem Summit (AAES2024) concluded on Sep 10 with great success. Themed 'Controlling Change, Leading the Way, and New Trends in the Development of Automotive Electronics Technology,' the summit brought together industry leaders, experts, and innovators to discuss the latest advancements in the automotive sector.
Collaborating closely with element14 and the Shanghai International Technology Exchange Center (SITEC), the event attracted 24 supplier partners and attendees from over one hundred companies while the online live stream garnered an audience of more than 21,000 viewers. This high level of participation underscores the summit's importance as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and business development.

The event started from Suzhou, a major development hub for new energy vehicles, followed by Ningbo and Chongqing and concluded in Guangzhou, a benchmark city for the new energy industry. The two summits in Suzhou featured a distinguished lineup of speakers from Avnet and its key partners, including Grace Dong— Regional President, Avnet China and Hong Kong, Cui Dongshu—Secretary-General of the China Passenger Car Association, Xudong Fu—Deputy General Manager of SITEC, and Xu Yang—Senior Sales Manager, Greater China, Element14. The summit delved into critical areas such as intelligent driving, intelligent networking, new energy power, AI development, intelligent manufacturing, and silicon carbide applications, offering attendees a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements and challenges in these fields.
The exhibition, held in all four cities, featured dedicated zones for Semiconductors, IP&E, and Local, where companies like Element14, Abracon, AMD, Amphenol, ams OSRAM, Bel Fuse, Bourns, Infineon, ISSI, KYOCERA AVX, Marvell, Microchip, Micron, Molex, Nexperia, NXP, onsemi, PI, Renesas, SGMicro, ST, Toshiba, Vishay, WeEn, Yageo, and Suzhou University showcased their innovative automotive solutions through technical forums and booth demonstrations
The overall event garnered significant media attention, with extensive TV news coverage from 7 key local media outlets including and online coverage in over 30 media publications. Through this event, we managed to reinforce the One Avnet message and drive our Power of One strategy with the participation of our sister company, Element 14, who contributed valuable insights through keynote speeches, technical forums, and a dedicated booth.
