Showing their True Colors
After the awards ceremony, the “mini marathon” began. During this frenzy of creativity, hundreds of talented kids wielded their paintbrushes to unlock the dreams and beauty in their hearts.
For children with autism, communication does not come easily. However, this activity empowered them to communicate in a non-verbal, entirely visual and wholly engaging way. As you can see from the works produced, the results were fantastic!

Painting a Brighter Future
Grace Dong, President of Avnet China, spoke on behalf of the group of volunteers, and indeed all of Avnet, when she said, “We are honored to be supporting this event for the fifth year in a row. The love and enthusiasm we’ve felt today is truly heartwarming. We look forward to continuing our sponsorship of this meaningful and magical event next year, and for many years to come.”
“Children with autism are clearly “able” to express themselves brilliantly through art. With a little help from the wider community, who knows what talents may be discovered among them. We at Avnet sincerely hope that more and more companies and individuals will make an effort to understand this special group of “angels” and give them more care and support,” added Welcome.
