Infineon Pays Tribute to Our Contributions |

Our Greater China team recently received a series of seven awards during Infineon’s three-day Goal Alignment 2022 (GA2022) event, held in Sanya and themed “Shift the Gear, Lead the Way”. Learn more about the achievements that earned the honors.

Our counterparts in Greater China received a Special Award for achieving Fastest POS Growth, clocking impressive year-on-year (YoY) growth of 95%. Avnet was singled out for its continuous investment of resources in the Infineon business, its support from Management, and its focus on demand creation.
Three other Special Awards were given for Avnet’s outstanding contributions in New Joint Account Development; for being the Top Performer in Security and Connectivity; and for its outstanding efforts in Demand Creation, for wind power and employee self-service (ESS) applications in particular.
Gold Bounty
A total of three Gold Special Awards were bestowed upon Avnet Greater China. The first recognized Avnet as the distributor with the Highest Number of Design Registrations – for a Sleep Monitoring System, a Smart Home Fall Prevention application, and an unspecified Healthcare application. The fact that all three new designs hail from the healthcare sector confirms the increasingly important role of technology in medical and wellness applications.
A second Gold Special award was given for The Most Innovative Sensor Solutions. A panel of 11 Infineon judges assessed all entries based on a set of go-to-market criteria. Avnet’s solution shone with its in-house ADS algorithm, optional microphone input, turnkey form factor, cloud connectivity, IoT dashboard, testing document, user guide and scalability.
The third Gold Special Award was received for Top Design-Win (Count) Distributor. The two design wins were both components related to a sleep monitoring system, an in-house solution developed by Avnet Design Service (ADS).
Shared Success, Shared Glory
Avnet’s Regional President Grace Dong and Marketing Director Kary Cai received the awards on behalf of the teams who collectively earned them.
