Avnet India Bags Prestigious Awards |

For the first time since the awards’ launch in 2015, Avnet India struck gold at the Electronics Maker (EM) Best of Industry Awards 2022. The team took home two trophies – for Outstanding Global Component Brands Distributor of the Year Award, and Best IoT Platform for Avnet IoTConnect.

A Celebration of Excellence in Electronics
Avnet was a Platinum sponsor of this year’s EM Best of Industry Awards, along with Gold sponsor Mouser Electronics and On-Site sponsor ASM Assembly Systems. India’s premier nationwide awards scheme for the electronics industry, the awards not only recognize leadership, innovation and excellence in the industry, but provide a platform for companies to showcase their respective accomplishments.
In his keynote opening speech at the gala ceremony, held at The Stellar Gymkhana, Greater Noida, UP, Avnet India’s Managing Director Suresh Kamath took the opportunity to share Avnet’s focus on the dynamic growth markets of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and EV charging stations. He said, “With the rollout of 5G and tremendous support for EVs from the Government of India, we foresee vast growth potential for semiconductor components. Hence Avnet has invested heavily in resources to help our customers with prototype design and samples.”

EM Award is India’s Only and Biggest Annual electronics industry Awards to celebrate excellence in the electronics Industry.
EM Best of Industry Awards is an initiative launched by India’s leading electronics publication Electronics Maker with an aim to honor and recognize the leading performers and innovators in the electronics industry.
The award honors leading performers in the industry Best Individual Contributors, Organizations that drive the industry forward, and provide them with a platform to showcase their achievements & product successes. This will help in furthering the growth of the electronics Industry thereby challenges to reach the next level. Also meet and network with top-shots of the electronics Industry.
