Xilinx Developer Forum (XDF), held in three locations globally each year, took place at Beijing National Convention Center on December 3-4, 2019!

Over 100 global industry leaders and technical experts gathered at XDF which was an unprecedented platform for meaningful engagement between developers and experts.

Ultra96 Accelerates Autonomous Robot
The TurtleBot3 Burger is a popular Robot Operating System (ROS) platform retrofitted with an Ultra96-V2 board, upgrading the capability from the Raspberry Pi board. Using Xilinx SDSoC and Vivado HLS tools, a compute intensive portion of the Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithm is accelerated within Xilinx Programmable Logic and accessed via a ROS-style abstraction layer for the hardware accelerator.

Xilinx DPU On UltraZ AD Board
UltraZ-AD is the completed platform for deep learning development which targets autonomous driving/self-controllable embedded products.
The board contains 2 sets of Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+TM MPSoC device and is eligible for autonomous driving test
or embedded into autonomous controlled robot, serving separately for object recognition, space recognition, and
route searching algorithm.
MIPSOLOGY’S ZEBRA Deep Learning Demo
Zebra by Mipsology is a high performance Deep Learning
inference solutions for FPGA. Zebra seamlessly replaces or
complements CPUs/GPUs, allowing any neural network to
compute faster, with lower power consumption, at lower
cost. Zebra deploys swiftly, seamlessly and painlessly
without knowledge of underlying hardware technology,
use of specific compilation tools or to changes to the neural
network, the training, the framework and the application.

2U2S Server Platform Designed For 3D Rendering, Technical Computing Applications
Avnet Integrated demonstrate 2U2S server product and targets 3D rendering, technical computing applications. They worked with Xilinx and ISV Mipsology to showcase Alveo-based high performance AI inference solution.
