Vishay - Battery shunt resistors





The battery shunt is used to sense the amount of current flowing into the vehicle's electrical sustem. The resistor must be capable of handing high currents(up to 1000A) while offing a low TCR, low thermal EMF, and high stability in extreme envirnments.

• High power to resistor size ratio,
• Sense pins allow for consistent contact location,
• Proprietary processing technique produces extremely low resistance values
• All welded construction
• Solid metal manganese-copper alloy resistive element with low TCR (< 20 ppm/°C)
• Very low inductance (< 5 nH)
• Low thermal EMF (as low as < 1 μV/°C)
• AEC-Q200 qualified.
