To accelerate success for this thriving sector, Avnet has combined its electronic expertise and superior market knowledge to create the Agriculture Sensor Board. Featuring two unique sensors, the application allows users to detect and measure critical farming parameters, namely temperatures and humidity of both soil and ambient environment. The monitored parameters can then be transmitted to relevant controls through BLE connectivity. To reduce energy needs, the application is thoughtfully designed to be solar-powered, and thus operates on a free energy resource that is always in abundance in agriculture.
